Hey fellow 'Diegos'!

I think all of the screentests so far have been of a high quality and best wishes to everyone in the casting process for this complex and layered character.

Good luck  Smiley

Hey Erryn, the Diego catagory, definately seems to have the highest quality ratio of submissions than any other.  Don't know what that mean exactly but it'll be a good one to watch Smiley

Erryn, Sir George, Baltaboris, PATTMAN and Bryan75 just too many varied but equally stunning auditions to choose from, I'll sit on the fence on this one, too tough to chose, but gut says Bryan75

I've decided to audition for this role and uploaded my video last weekend. I couldn't get friends to play the other characters so i had to tape myself saying the other character's lines and reacting to it as Diego. Which was very hard to do. Please give me some feedback.

You can see me audition video here. Thanks.

Sadly, my INet connection is awful, so I can only watch your audition like it was splitted in parts and put again in slow motion and then splitted up again and played at its normal rate. From what I've seen, your idea of recoding yourself is very creative. The result is something wierd, (counting on my connection, I mean), because I can't see the audio / video sync, so I can only watch it as a bizarre monologue.

Anyway, the voice sounds good, It's easy to overact this part, and yours doesn't sound like that. Thas good. I believe. If this kind of audition is up to be something usual, you should get a video editing program, so you can adjust the audio as you wish and give the video's colour a little more light. The image is good, but I miss some more contrast.

It's a good audition, man, I don't know what the directors are looking for. If they are just looking for a Latino type guy, you don't have the looks (I'm truly latino and I haven't them also!). If they wan't a good actor, capable of melting with the character and delivering it in a professional way, then you've got your possibilities.

I'd like to see your vid with a better connection, so I could see your reactions in real time, not with that filthy delay. Actually, I can only tell about your looks and your voice. It's a real shame. If I've got the chance to watch it properly, I'll tell you more, of course.

Please, don't get confused or annoyed by my 'Video Editing' crap. My audition has no answers and no edition too; I made it on my vacation time, miles apart form my studio and my partners and I made it just imaging the voice of Richard and Joanna. I would like to make it properly, with some partners, a good set and a few hours to set the colour and the audio perfect.

We are actors, not technicians, but we can get much power and knowledge from the machines (cameras, computers...) and leran lots of things about acting.

I'm starting to talk like a grandpa... sorry. It's a good audtion. No matter the result, you've made a good job.

Good luck!

Thanks for the compliments. I appriciate the feedback. Too bad about your connection though. Looks like we all have to wait till the 15th of December now. Goodluck.
